STUDY, EXPERIENCE & CONTINUING INQUIRYÂ
Some fields are not entered in order to master them, but to remain in relationship with the questions they carry.
My continuing studies move across scientific, embodied, contemplative, nature-based, experiential, and wisdom traditions.
They include psychoneuroimmunology, neuropsychology, neurobiology, noetic sciences, consciousness research, language, perception, sound, energy, and the relationships among brain, body, breath, nervous system, environment, and experience.
I also explore consciousness across waking, dreaming, sleep, meditation, threshold states, death, and expanded awareness. This includes lucid dreaming, Dream Yoga, Yoga Nidra, hypnagogia, night consciousness, transpersonal and out-of-body experiences, contemplative maps of transition, and the different ways science, lived experience, mythology, and wisdom traditions approach what is not yet fully understood.
Further areas of study include Tibetan Buddhist and Bön teachings on dream, sleep, bardo, death, dying, and transition; Taoist philosophy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tai Chi, Shaolin, Kundalini, Ayurveda, meditation, breath, and subtle-body practices; Japanese understandings including Ikigai, Keiko, Kokoro, and Kototama; and relationships among human beings, living environments, and the more-than-human world.
Though these fields arise from different contexts, they converge around enduring questions:
How does life move through body, mind, language, relationship, environment, consciousness, and form? How does experience become perception and identity? How does practice become embodiment? What becomes possible when life is encountered as movement rather than fixed form?
I approach these studies with curiosity, discernment, humility, and respect for the traditions, cultures, lineages, research, and lived experiences from which they emerge.
Different systems are not assumed to describe identical states, and no experience is reduced to a single interpretation. These areas of study are not presented as equivalent forms of training, professional qualification, or authority. Each is included for the distinct contribution it makes to my continuing inquiry and to the ways I listen, perceive, and participate.
The field remains open—to what I am studying now and to the knowledge, traditions, questions, and forms of intelligence I have not yet encountered.

Katalyst Within is a layered body of work exploring conscious evolution, living intelligence and what becomes possible when we participate more fully in life. Moving through body, mind, consciousness, relationship, transition, completion and becoming, its guided experiences and self-directed courses invite greater presence, discernment, responsibility and the embodiment of what is true. There is no single entrance or fixed destination. Each offering is a doorway into the life becoming available to be lived.
