 I’m Kimberly — a therapist, coach, educator, and guide.
For over two decades, I’ve walked with people through trauma, transition, and deep transformation.
And I haven’t just guided others — I’ve walked it myself.
Quietly. Honestly. Again and again.

What I offer isn’t only based on what I’ve studied.
It’s shaped by what I’ve lived — in real time, through every season.
There were years when I didn’t know if I’d ever feel whole again,
but I kept walking.
Eventually I saw that none of it was random.
The pain, the growth, and the healing became the foundation for the work I now share.

That’s what Katalyst  has always been.
A home and a method, yes — and more than that,
a safe place for the living path of your journey.
Refined over years from the outside in,
while always working from the inside out.

My approach recognizes that lasting change happens when the mind, body, and spirit all participate.
It’s not enough to think differently; your nervous system, brain chemistry, and sense of connection need to shift too.
The work integrates neurobiology, nervous‑system regulation, and whole‑person alignment,
so growth is not just emotional but physical, relational, and deeply lived.

When the mind, body, and spirit move together, transformation becomes sustainable.

I work in a way that’s both soft and strong.
My presence is warm, grounded, and clear — but this work is serious.

MY EARLY CAREER

THE FOUNDATION OF TRAUMA WORK

 

My journey in trauma recovery began nearly three decades ago when I started working part-time with first responders and emergency services personnel. Witnessing the immense pressure, stress and trauma they faced daily, I developed a deep understanding of how unprocessed experiences impact mental and physical well-being.  This early exposure laid the foundation for my work in trauma recovery and transformation, shaping my approach to resilience and healing. 


 

CORPORATE & BUSINESS EXPERIENCE

A DIFFERENT KIND OF PROBLEM SOLVING 

In parallel with my trauma work, I spent years in high-level business and corporate strategy, working with athletes, private investment groups, entrepreneurs, and executives. My experience spanned national and international corporate mergers and acquisitions , managing capital campaigns , and guiding businesses through private to public transactions.  Through these roles, I honed my ability to navigate complex human dynamics, leadership challenges and the emotional impact of high pressure environments.  These insights later became crucial to my work helping individuals balance professional success with personal well-being. 

 


 

A wake up call

MY PERSONAL HEALTH CRISIS

My perspective on trauma shifted dramatically when I experienced a serious health crisis. I came face-to-face with the long-term effects of unresolved stress, emotional suppression, and the body's response to trauma. This was a pivotal moment - I realized that healing wasn't just about surviving trauma, but about transforming it. This wake-up call led me to seek deeper knowledge, refine my skills and ultimately shift my career focus entirely to trauma recovery, and personal transformations.

THE BIRTH OF KATALYST

Determined to Bridge the gap between business strategy, neuroscience and trauma informed care, I returned to academia to formally study trauma, psychology and nervous system methodology that combines science backed approaches with real world practicality. My goal was simple, to help people not just recover from trauma, but to transform their lives by reframing trauma as a catalyst for growth, resilience and self discovery.

Today, I work exclusively online, serving clients in over 33 countries through Telehealth and Zoom. My practice has evolved to include individual trauma therapy, couples counselling, professional supervision , trauma case consultations. As I continue to growth
